Financial accessibility is essential for us!

  • Actual price ticket - £18

The "actual price ticket" is the actual cost of the class. If you choose a ticket price below the top tier, you are receiving a discount.

  • Middle price ticket - £14

The "middle price ticket" is for those who are able to meet their basic needs, but have little-to-no expendable income. Paying for this class may qualify as a sacrifice, but it would not create hardship.

  • Bottom price ticket - £7

The "bottom price ticket" is for those who struggle to meet their basic needs, and paying for this class would be a significant hardship.

  • Solidarity price ticket - £25

There are a small number of bikes in every ride which are priced higher than the actual cost of the class. These are "solidarity tickets", which allow those with the means to do so, to 'pay it forward' and help us offer the lower/no cost tickets for other people.

Our sliding scale pricing…

At Ash Rides Ldn, we offer our classes using a sliding scale for pricing.

The actual cost of the class is £18 (plus Eventbrite’s admin fees), and tickets listed below that price are limited. The guide above should help you decide where to place yourself on the sliding scale.

We also believe that ‘no one turned away for lack of funds, so there are a handful of bikes available at no cost in every ride. You can email us at ashrideslondon@gmail.com, if you’d like to book a “no cost” bike.

We have considered and learnt from the extensive resources generously shared for free by Alexis J. Cunningfolk of the Worts + Cunning Apothecary in designing our sliding scale. You can check out Alexis' extensive blog posts about the sliding scale here.

PS We use the Eventbrite platform for bookings. They charge a small fee per booking, which will be added to the cost of your ticket when you pay.
